A 576 kWp solar plant was installed across seven locations for the Key Largo Wastewater Treatment District in the Florida Keys. The system features three mounting types:
- Pitched Roofs: Panels installed at pumping stations along the iconic Overseas Highway.
- Canopies: East-west oriented panels on spill-safe structures, designed for easy maintenance access and high wind resistance.
- Carports: Cantilevered shelters with east-west oriented panels providing vehicle coverage.
Constructed from stainless steel for corrosion resistance, all structures meet Florida’s regulations for hurricane resilience, withstanding winds up to 180 mph (290 km/h).
