Miami Edison Adidas Sustainable Field

Location: Miami, FL

Miami Edison High School proudly unveiled the first-ever Adidas sustainable field in Miami-Dade County, a groundbreaking initiative built by our sports division in partnership with Act Global. This innovative Design-Build project features a turf system made with 1.8 million recycled plastic bottles, collected from the oceans to combat pollution and promote sustainability. The scope of work included comprehensive site preparation, drainage installation, grading, base rock and finish stone placement, turf installation, and the addition of amenities. We are honored to have contributed to this transformative project, setting a new standard for sustainable sports facilities in the heart of Miami.
